We are pleased to announce that we will have on display at Roads Closed VI, two commemorative paintings by our good friend Billy Art. The paintings are original works by Billy to commemorate the Roads Closed Exhibitions in 2014 and 2015.
They are magnificent examples of Billy’s work and have to be seen in the flesh to truly appreciate them.

We are indebted to Billy because he has very kindly donated both paintings to help with our fund raising. You may recall that each year we host the Roads Closed exhibition and produce, in conjunction with Den Chandler at mugs4u.com, our annual calendar. All proceeds are donated equally between the Rob Vine Fund, the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club and Southern 100 Helicopter Funds. We intend to sell the above paintings and add the monies raised to our yearly donation to the aforementioned organisations.

As commissioned works these paintings would cost a minimum of £500 and I guess that’s where we will start. If you are interested please use the contact form on the menu above and we will be pleased to receive your inquiry. They are framed and mounted in complimentary black and are ready to be hung on your wall. This is a rare chance to own one or both of these unique works of art and to be helping road racing and motorsport on the isle of Man.
We will also have the following signed prints, by both Billy and the rider, available to purchase at the exhibition. To make an offer for each or both please use the contact form above. These framed prints feature Maria Costello MBE and Bruce Anstey and are ready to hang on your wall.

Many thanks to Billy for entrusting us with his fine paintings and supporting our efforts to contribute to maintaining and improving the medical and rescue services to motorsport on the Island.
We are pleased to announce the release of this magnificent painting by artist Billy Art to commemorate the opening of this year’s exhibition. The painting will also be the cover of the 2016 Calendar which will be launched at this year’s exhibition which runs from the 4th June through to 12th June. Open daily from 10.00am until 5.00pm at St. Ninian’s Church in Douglas.
Billy has made available limited number (just 30) of fine art prints of the painting that fans can purchase via his website here http://www.billyart.co.uk/roadsclosed/roadsclosed.html
Billy Art continues the preparations for this year’s calendar and exhibition with his latest painting that will feature as the front cover of the 2016 calendar.
The calendar will be published in time for the 2015 Roads Closed VI Exhibition at St. Ninian’s Church, Douglas.
We’ve also been gathering together the new prints from our contributing photographers in readiness to go on display from the 4th June until 12th June.
I’ll post some more details soon.
After a long day at mugs4u.com HQ we are now putting together the final details for both this year’s Calendar (i.e. the 2016 Calendar) and Roads Closed VI Exhibition.
The new calendar will be available at the exhibition instead of later in the year as in previous years. Of course it will also be available on line for those of you who can’t get to St. Ninian’s.
Details will appear here very soon. In the meantime check out the Exhibition Preview page above for a sneaky look at some of the fine images that will be on display at the exhibition this year.
The roadsclosed.org 2016 Calendar is now in production. Our website address may have changed to reflect the core fund raising activities of the group but that’s all. It will remain that must have item for the keen road racing fan.
All proceeds will be divided equally between the Rob Vine Fund, The Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club Helicopter Fund and the Southern 100 helicopter Fund.
The anticipated production date is 31st May 2015 and it will be available at the Roads Closed Exhibition as well as via this website.
Please check back for updates.
